The Novo 4 has separate pod and coil which are $5 each but you should only need to replace the coil usually. The Novo X coils last longer but the Novo 4 is an overall better experience. You should never starve your pod in either or the coil will get burnt, but the X pod can take it better, while the Novo 4 coil will be completely burnt after 5 ... .
